How do I reserve Copeley field for a weekend make-up game or practice?
What do I do if The Park Field #6 ("Superfields") is locked up when I have a scheduled game?
Question1:

How do I reschedule a game?

Answer1:

To reschedule a game on Copeley, you and the captain from the opposing team must determine when the two teams can play. When that is determined, simply go to the NGSL bulletin board in Hunton-Williams Hall and write your teams into a blank game slot. Once a game time has been scheduled, contact the appropriate umpire and notify him or her that there has been a game scheduled at that time.

To reschedule a game on The Park Field #6, you must do all of the steps above, but you must also contact the Head Commissioner, Matt Watson (jmw8tg@virginia.edu), at least two days before the game time. Matt must schedule the game with the University and gain permission to use that field at the designated time. Once he has received permission to use the field, he will notify you that the game can be played.

Question2:

How do I reserve Copeley field for a weekend make-up game or practice?

Answer2:

If you want to schedule a game or practice on the weekend (when we do not have Copeley field reserved) then send Matt Watson an e-mail and he will line it up.

Question3:

What do I do if The Park Field #6 ("Superfields") is locked up when I have a scheduled game?

Answer3:

No matter what, DO NOT CLIMB THE FENCE at The Park fields. We have games scheduled on Mondays and Fridays at The Park Field #6. There are no games from Tuesday - Thursday, and nobody is to go down there and try to play games or practices during this time. If we need to schedule make-up games during this time we can, but you have to give the Head Commissioner two or three days' notice so he can get the permission of the University.

If the field is locked at a time when a game is scheduled, do not climb the fence! It may have been locked for a specific reason, such as the fields are wet. Regardless, call or email the Head Commissioner and he will relay the problem to the guy in charge of the field and get it resolved. You will probably just have to re-schedule that game.
